I hope these steps help you to achieve all that you would like to accomplish. Stay in the “I can” mode and not the “I can’t” mode. Do not listen if someone tells you that you can’t go to college. There is always a way even if your grades are not the normally what high schools expect. Even if you don’t use the degree, completing it will bring new experiences in your life. Take advantage of all of it, even of the different activities as well. You may even make long term friendships as well. So, look up and not down. Every goal you achieve makes you a winner. You will have a long list of achievements before you realize it. Have fun in the process. Reading people is a form of safety that protects us from harm from others. It is good for where you live, on the street, and even where you work. It can also be a way of not being harm even in families. It is good to have this skill to help you to be strong in the outside world.
Let’s be careful. Reading people in situations in family can also hurt. People tend to believe that they know anything and everything about a person. When it comes to family, we should try to give people a chance before pushing them off. Every one may not be good if they look like someone that can harm you. There are people that would like to know you. You keep reading people like they are not good enough for you; you are making your circle of family smaller. Find out the story from that person themselves. Don’t always believe what you hear if you don’t see the person much. If you do see them you may not believe that you can hurt someone and not telling the person “Why.” If you don’t have a reason, it is them not you. You are causing more harm them good. When it comes to reading people, let’s use it for safety. Be careful that you don’t use it in a way in front of them that the person has no clue of why you hate them in your family. This is not to say you would like everyone. That is not true. I just want you to know that always reading people in your family without knowing the history of the story directly from that person will cause more harm. This can also cause separation in families as well. So, let’s learn to come together as a family when we can. June 6, 2018 was a special day. The day of my speech on Transportation through the Brave in the Attempt Tedx Program sponsored through Special Olympics Baltimore. My family came to hear me speak at Towson University in Towson, Maryland.
Very few people were there when we arrived. I was glad to be there early. Just before speaking, we met special people that supported the Brave in the Attempt Program. I was very calm until it was nearly time for me to speak. I was glad that I practiced the speech multiple times before this big day. After speaking, I met many people who enjoyed my speech. Some told me that my speech was an inspiration to help their children! Over all, I was glad to have this experience in addition to my previous work with the police force in Baltimore. I look forward to speaking again. Below is a link to the youtube video of my speech, please enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4MRRTnElE8&list=PLBf4E-umpDDjKF_XCjOrzjjOXrDSmIjg4&t=0s&index=5 There are many ways to get around for everyone. This helps us to make our day possible in completing those things that we need to do.

It can help you to feel good about yourself. Your self-esteem grows. As I am told, you don’t know who is watching you. The more you practice the better you will feel. As you keep doing it, you will get better and better. So, lets get started in making ourselves beautiful.
A Story About Me Keeping myself looking good makes me happy from head to toe. Manicuring and pedicuring can feel good. When I get started, I take the nail polish off of my hands and feet. I get my special hand and nail scrub. I take my scrub and massage my feet. I take my brush and scrub to take off the dead skin. I repeat on the other foot and just sit there and soak. Feeling the bubbles feel so good. When I am done, I dry my feet and polish them. Later, I can place Vaseline, lotion, or even both to make my feet soft. I also put on thin socks to help soak it into my feet. I do a similar care on my nails as well. I take my hand and nail scrub and rub my hands in it after taking my nail polish off. Once I am done, I wash my hands in the hand soap at least 2 to 3 times. I then polish my nails. I can then place lotion on my hands as well. There are also those times that I am in a rush and can’t do everything. So, a quick way is to take the nail polish off my feet. Take a shower using a separate wash cloth for your feet. Afterwards, polish your nails and you are set to go. This may be the only time you have. At least, you can always keep it looking nice. A Salon or Barber Shop Story Over time, I have had curls, perms, as well as braids. I can’t lie and say the process was easy. The process was not. When you go, describe to the hair dresser or barber what you would like. Look at pictures if you don’t know. There is a chance that the style you desire may not go well. Over time, you will try different styles. When you find the right person, you will also feel comfortable. You may also come to a decision on a special style you may want to keep for a while. That is okay. As long as you feel beautiful or handsome. Try to update your style when possible. Smelling and Looking Good Smelling, as well as, looking good brings out who we are. I love it when for Christmas my aunts give me body sprays and lotions. It makes me feel good and smell good. You may have special scents that you may start to like as well. What I like is that the scents and perfume help me to feel even more beautiful. It even makes me feel comfortable when someone is near me. Here is a list of what you will need for your care. There is so much more you can use. Just go out shopping and look around at the stores. Take trips to the CVS, Target, and beauty supply stores to name a few. You may also find things in your dollar stores as well. Experiment with different items to find what will work for you. When it comes to your hair, especially women, be careful. Ask the stylist what may be best for your hair. When it comes to cost, you can go to hair schools to get your hair done as well. Men Take care, there is a section for you as well. Go in the stores and experiment too. Yours will be a lot easier. Go to the CVS and Target. You can also go the nail salons to get your hands and feet done. Men have problems with some of the same problems that females have. An example is acne. There are also products for you as well. So, you can keep your face looking as nice like a female can as well. For all of you, your grocery stores have beauty section as well. So, go and check it out! Beauty List Nail Trimmers Nail Scissors Nail Polish (girls) Hand and Feet Scrub Cologne Body Scents Perfume Facial Crème Make Up (girls) Shampoo and Conditioner Combs Brushes Hair Care Products Gloves for Hands Foot Soakers from like Bed, Bath, and Beyond Lotions Shavers Hand mirrors Curlers, Flat irons (if needed) Hair Oils Acne Products (men and women) Musk Deodorant Shave Kits Body Wash (men and women) This makes up some of the basics that you will probably needs. Still, go out and shop around. There is so much more to see. Locations Most of what you are looking for like salons can be found in your malls and small shopping areas. Some places do just manicures and pedicures. There are others that just do hair. You can also find places that do both. Places that do manicures and pedicures also do your face by getting any hair off of your face. They also do things like the shaping of your eye brows that help you to stand out and look beautiful on your face as well. At the barber shop, you also get shaves as well. Some barbers will even clean up a female face as well. Look for a brochure in the salons and the prices to tell you how much everything will cost. Shopping Shopping for your personal style is important. You want to keep your style to fit your age. Have someone go with you to help you out. To get started, you may not have a lot of money. You can go to stores like Unique and other thrift stores to help you get started. When you go in, you will find very nice clothes. There are a lot of people who give away clothes that have not been worn. Nobody has to know. When you look nice, it will come together. A tip that was given to me when it comes to shopping in the regular malls is to use the mannequins in front of the store to help you to match up out fits that you may want to buy. Exercising Doing exercises like yoga, stretches, walking, running, as well any other cardiovascular exercises are very good for you. They keep you physically fit, as well as, mentally healthy. Check with your doctor to see what is best for you. You can find many ways and places to go to keep fit. The easiest is starting to walk. All exercises take time to get use to putting in your schedule. Places you can go to is to a gym, get tapes, and even find exercises on television like yoga to help you to get started. Just take it easy and one step at a time. Doing a little is better than doing nothing at all. You can also try your Park and Planning guide as well. Meditation Meditation is a way to help your mind and body to relax. It can also relieve any stress you may be feeling. It can also help you to fall asleep at night. Learn to sit in a comfortable position and breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Take a few minutes at a time. Use the timer on your telephone to keep track of time. Also, close your eyes. Why Is This Important?
I hope this will give all of you a guide to help you to feel better and present yourself to those around you in another light. Just because you have a disability, does not mean you have to show it on the outside as well. oN tHURSDAY, April 12, 3018 was a very special. I was able to catch the bus to my home for the first time since I almost fainted and had panic attacks in February. I had been scared of cars for the last two months. I would not go outside unless I was went someone or riding the Metro Access vehicle. I felt Like i was in jail.
